Project:   Retail initiative for the launch of new Flyknit product styles in 2013 and 2014.

In 2013 we created a large white washed interactive display table that highlighted the features and technology of the Flyknit shoe against the backdrop of a web of colored cord that was color matched to the product initiative and individually strung onsite. The front of the desk was filled with backlit spools of fine thread, each roughly 8” in diameter, and faced with a laser cut Flyknit logo.  Additional graphics surrounded the Players Lounge and store entry.

In 2014 we were challenged to create a multi story moire effect of colored string that was 20 feet wide by 30 feet tall and had four sections of overlapping patterns. Over 7 miles of elastic cord was custom dyed to match initiative pantone colors and each section engineered to be rigged at various points on custom truss above while be appropriately weighted below.   Consumers tested the Flyknit product while running on treadmills placed between the layers of intersecting string immersing them into the physical display. Surrounding shoe cubbies and graphics were produced to coincide with the pinnacle installation.
