Project:   Oakley approached SET with an exciting venture of creating and experimental new store at the heart of new complex being built for Disney in Orlando, Fl.  This store was to push the boundaries of the Oakley brand and create a new identity for this pinnacle location that would roll out to all new and existing stores in the future.   This concept incorporated a pneumatic tube delivery system that would bring custom built sunglasses and apparel from the center glass “Lab” to the consumers once they had designed their own one of a kind assembly of parts thru a specially developed app built into monitors along the perimeter of the store and placed within the display units surrounded by actual product parts.

This project was designed and rendered by SET and Fitch provided architectural drawings and although both Oakley and Disney loved the concept, due to budget constraints within the internal Oakley team this project was cancelled just before drawings were submitted to city of Orlando and Disney for permitting.
